It's a widely used phrase for his age group. We are way to PC. My grandpa always said "Just wait a cotton picking minute" or "damn cotton picking cowboys can't even throw a pass". Just because it started as a hurtful thing to say but speech changes. Are you going to make it where I can't say "rule of thumb"? I do think it's funny, hes talking about how you need to watch everything you say in the new culture and hes on YouTube being called a racist due to the fact he said a common phrase.

Seriously I personally think with the race? enough. lets work on immrigants getting their freedom leave them get access to drivers license and also social security . no one owns no one. this world is made up by humans the government owns no one they work for us. no one works for the government and they are stealing our money. and im the guy thats gonna stop all this nonsence.

and to paraphrase what he said, "Since this is the most diverse country in the world, we should have the right to be verbally racist to any group without being humiliated". I hope he's not laying down subliminal messages like...we are white, it's because of us this country is diverse, so we should say what we want.

Yup. I like how he gets red-faced at anything. I'm disappointed that he's not around as usual. He's a comedian to me. It's funny when I see his photo on his cover books when he's standing up, I thought the man had no legs after watching his big head for so long.

I know where Lou Dobbs was heading with that "...cotton...", even he knew that and that's why he struggled there and even jerked his neck. Oh Lou Dobbs, find me anything that doesn't piss you off. (I bet he has "undocumented" house maids working for him)

Good points. In this day and age, societies across the world can actually predict with some accuracy what might cause their downfall: exhaustion of finite resources, nuclear arms etc. However, we distinguish ourselves from our ancestors insofar as our ability to predict the consequences of our actions goes. We still choose to ignore the flaws in our respective systems and this, one could reasonably say, is the true downfall of civilization.
