A story telling rapper is someone like...krs one for example,he creates a theme and goes on with it his whole album like lupe fiasco has (the cool) krs one has (criminal minded).Immortal tech=all his albums.Eminem was simply explaining things that happened in his life time,have you noticed that most of his popular songs are about things that happened in his life..?think about it..that`s not a story telling rapper,he is more a kick-backed philosophy type of rapper like rakim :)!

Eminem is a "story telling rapper"...thats basically what he started from...listen to as the world turns, or any of his earlier stuff. His news stuff is a lot of story telling too, just doesnt come out and say it

I hate rap. always have, just didn't like it didn't have depth or meaning or anything for me. and lupe has showed me that i should have faith for it because there are good rappers out there

LUPE IS THE TRUTH!!!! I love his music overall and this song...not to mention i wasd also loving the Jill Scott addition to the song..she is great as well..one of my FAVORITE singers...I watch this video all the time

WoahWoahWoah what the fuck? Eminem is not better than Lupe? Are you fucking serious? I listened to almost all of Eminems songs and he just made me think he's a fucking sicko. He tries to be deep but realy he's just blowin' steam off. You can listen to Lupe and actually relate to the guy. Only rapper that was on Lupe's level and EVER will be was tupac. yea i agree lupe is discrpitive, his lyrics are detailed ryhmes about one subject... in this just happens to be about his neighborhood.

I say Em and Lupe are the best lyricists right now that I know of. However, the rhymes of both are different. Em is more of a story kind of rapper, and Lupe is more of a descriptive kind. In my opinion, I don't think anyone can really compare those two. But hey, that's just one man's opinion.

ok stfu all of u....none of you know what your talking about....lupe is a beast...one of the best lyricists in the game....but he has nothing on eminem...eminem is just as good of a lyricist and hes been there...he has lived through everything he raps about...im not saying lupe is bad...hes dope as shit...but he has nothing on eminem and he would admit it...all of you who dont think hes good havent heard the right songs...wait till his new album comes out before u continue to talk shit about him
