That's the first sign of getting old, my friend: hating everything that passes for culture. Mind you, I often find myself agreeing with you. Pop music is just a travesty these days and combined with reality TV that isn't real...a lethal combination. No wonder retro is so popular.

I fucking LOVE the 80s!!! I am so glad that I was born in 1976. I got to experience my child hood and pre teen years in the 80s..the best decade EVER! Then I got to be a teenager in the early 90s which was ever so fun as well. Man, I feel sorry for kids today..all they have to look forward to is shitty television, crappy music, and garbage for entertainment,....I hate 2008!!!

well maybe not a huge hit, but remember it was in the movie Weird Science and I recall seeing it on MTV pretty often... this was back in the 80s when MTV actually had meaningful progamming.
