Description:

The pictures posted are not meant to be flattering, but to show true condition. I bought the car as it was misrepresented for $3,000.00, and when I got home from the service to see it for the first time, I felt like I had been robbed. It has rare options such as bucket seats and console, cruise, and power door locks. From the factory it has the 375hp 472 that now has a correct carb for it although not installed. I had the engine cranked, it didn't knock, but the carb was gummed up so bad I bought a new/used one and just never put it on. It came from Arizona, and the floors feel solid. It's a strait body I believe to be an excelent foundation for a resto for someone with more experience than me - UPDATE 15JAN07: PLEASE READ NOTES BELOW. I'd like to see her go to someone with a pasion for these cars that will someday have her back on the road where she belongs. I have lots more pictures I'd be glad to e-mail anyone that asks. Currently has an "open" title out of Arizona. Car is located in Huntsville, Tx. Looking for best reasonable offer.
EDIT 15JAN07: The potential seller brought with him a body/chasis specialist to help inspect the car, and unfortuneately we found a LOT of bondo in the rear quarter panels, and the seat frames have not held up as well as I had hoped. However he did confirm that frame and floors were good as well as the trunk floors, and I have decided to adjust my asking price accordingly to $1,250.00 (obo). I am very sorry that I had mentioned a straight body in the original ad, and I will try to edit it to include true facts after this post. It is very important to me that no one is mislead as I was at the time of my purchase of the car. I will be sending pictures those that requested them in the next day or so. Thank you every one for your interest.
It's worth $270.00 in scrap. Come and get it for little more than that before I scrap it.

Yes I would like more photos on this car, I would also be interested in any rust
problems with photos if possible. Have you tried all the options, ie power windows etc and does it have AC. I too would be interested in what you want
for the car. I am sorry you got ripped for 3K. I bought a car a while back, the
guy told me it was a 90 point car. I don't know whos 90 points he was looking at, but it did teach me to look a lot closer next time around. Thank for your time on this and I look forward to the photos

Sorry I've been a few days without checking in. I've got a sale pending right now for $1500.00, supposed to happen this weekend. If this falls through, I'll get back to you with more detailed photos. I'd just hate to waste an entire day of downloading pictures on dial-up knowing that a deal is already in the works. Thank you very much for your interest, and I'll keep this thread updated as things progress.

Rear quarter damage:

Not pretty, but this should help in determining the true condition of the car. Thanks again.

I've lost patience. It's worth $270.00 in scrap. Beat that price, and take it home. You've got less than a week.

I was hoping not to have to do that. I have a sale pending right now, and I'll let everyone know whether it is sold or not, and I will make a decision then. I have to be totally honest though. I'm NOT going to send this car to the crusher, but I won't let it go for less than it's recycled worth either. I'll let you know. Thanks.
