We are selling our 1996 Eldorado ETC. We have driven it since about 98k miles. My other car is a toyota mr2 turbo, and cadillacs just dont suit our 4cylinder lifestyle. we are going to build a silvia. so here it is.
1996 Eldorado ETC
149k miles
black (paint is 4/5)
black leather (interior is perfect)
am/fm cassette, power seats, etc. (more of a mr2 guy, so i dont know these cars' standard options)
it has been babied since we had it, and the last owner was an elderly man who passed away, and his daughter sold it to us. the transmission is in awesome shape, shifts perfect, feels very good. i changed the oil religiously as well. im a big car dork. i didnt think i would like this car, but i am honestly a little sad to see it going. its been nothing but perfect since we've had it, and its quite fun to drive for a touring car.
known problems:
- very little paint/moulding damage on passenger fender. looks like the previous owner was dinged by a shopping cart or something. uploaded pic of it.
- she really needs a bath in my pics. sorry about that.
- nothing else.
what has been done lately:
- New OEM platinum spark plugs 3k miles ago
- new driver side window switch. (old one broke with window up)
- lots of oil changes (which are pretty easy to perform without a jack)
- new really bright fog light bulbs (dont know if thats normal, but they are very bright)
- new tires recently, all are at least 50% treadlife left.
- 4 new sets of brakepads all around
- just scrubbed EGR valve
- had recall performed on fuel rail at 130k
- just refreshed A/C freon R134a to stock OEM specs. (really cold a/c now)
if you are interested, email me at bo_malone@hotmail.com, not my board email. you can check me out at www.mr2oc.com. my name there is 'bo'. i have a positive trader rating.
ALSO i am very willing to trade if the car fits. very flexible on this, so just let me know. THANKS!
