ENGINE: Custom engine overhaul 1997 at 177K
Had internals modified so that the cam would get the oil it needs. You will recall that this was a weakness when the car was new. O'haul included the water pump, distributor, CV joints. Retarded distributor allows it to run on regular gas.
Engine has kill switch to allow oil pressure to build up before the plugs fire. This has contributed to its long miles before and after o'haul,
Has many new parts. When a part needed replacement, only the best parts were used because of better reliability.

A/C Has a high pressure valve kill switch. It kept failing every winter.
Converted to R-134a, but ran out of gas and compressor seized.

This car rides smoother and quieter than the 1995 STS I have.
The blue paint in that year was did not hold up..
Repainted top artic white in 2000, but it has begun to peel around edges. The blue in the photos is the original.

Needs front and rear bumper inserts.
Interior is probably 8 out 10.
The blue velour has held up quite well
The left front armrest needs recovering.
Steering wheel inserts have flecked off.
Seville logos need replacing.
