IT IS NAVY BLUE WITH A NICE GRAY INTERIOR.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;THE CAR HAS 139,000 SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER. THIS IS PRETTY MUCH A NICE RUST FREE EXAMPLE THAT HAS BEEN WELL PRESERVED. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL NAVY BLUE PAINT. IT IS STARTING TO SHOW SOME SWIRL MARKS, A LITTLE FADING, AND SOME SPIDER WEBBING ON THE TAIL SECTION.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;AND NOW THE GOOD. SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE CAR I HAVE PUT THE FOLLOWING PARTS OR UPGRADES ON THE CAR, &quot;BIG BLUE&quot;:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;1. STAYING WITH THE BLUE THEME, WHEN WE TUNED UP THE CAR, I USED AC RAPID FIRE, SPARKPLUGS, BLUE 8MM TAYLOR SPARKPLUG WIRES. WE ALSO INSTALLED A NEW OPTSPARK, AND CRANK SENSOR. ALSO DID AN OIL CHANGE AND USED SYN-BLEND 10W-30 VALVOLINE MOTOR OIL.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;2. WE FLUSHED THE RADIATOR AND HEATER CORE (NO LEAKS), AND INSTALLED A COMPLETE GOODYEAR BLUE HI TEMP RADIATOR AND HEATER HOSE SET. (USED PARTS RECOMMENDED FOR A 96 IMPALA SS WITH SAME LT-1 MOTOR), NEW 190 DEGREE THERMOSTAT, WATER PUMP, GASKETS AND PRESTONE ANTIFREEZE.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;3. INSTALLED A NEW COLD AIR INTAKE, WITH A &quot;BLUE&quot; FILTER.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;4. FLUSHED THE TRANS, REPLACED THE FILTER, AND USED SYNTHETIC TRANS FLUID.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;5. REBUILT THE REAR (HAD SOME BEARING NOISE) USING THE BETTER TIMKEN REBUILD KIT, INSTALLED THE UPGRADED 3:42 REAR GEARS(FROM SUMMIT RACING) AND INSTALLED A POSI UNIT OUT OF A 95 IMPALA SS. ALSO PUT IN NEW SPRINGS SINCE WE ALREADY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;6. SINCE WE WERE UPGRADING THE REAR, WE ALSO INSTALLED THE DISC BRAKE ASSEMBLY FROM THE 95 IMPALA SS ONTO THE REAR ( A FEATURE NOT OFFERED ON THE FLEETWOOD FOR SOME REASON). AT THIS POINT WE ALSO INSTALLED ALL NEW BRAKE LINES, ALL NEW ROTORS, NEW BRAKE PADS, AND ALL NEW REBUILT CALIPERS TO ALL 4 CORNERS. I ALSO INSTALLED THE STEALTH BRAKE UPGRADE SO INSTEAD OF THE 95 UP FRONT 5 REAR BRAKE PRESSURE, I BELIEVE IT GIVES YOU A 65 PERCENT UPFRONT, 35 PERCENT REAR BRAKE PRESSURE. IT IS A LARGE CAR, AND YOU WOULD LIKE IT STOP MORE EFFICIENTLY!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;7. I THEN HAD SOME AUTO GAUGES INSTALLED UNDER ASH TRAY TO MONITOR THE OIL PRESSURE AND WATER TEMP, SINCE CADILLAC DOESN'T THINK YOU NEED TO KNOW ( ALL IDIOT LIGHTS ). THEY SPLIT THE OIL LINE SO YOU STILL HAVE THE GAUGE LIGHT UP ON THE DASH OR IS AN EASY UNINSTALL IF YOU THINK IT LOOKS TACKY ( SO 60'S - 70'S).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;8. INSTALLED 2 1/2&quot; TURBO MUFFLERS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;9.INSTALLED NEW AC COMPRESSOR, HAD SYSTEM PURGED AND ALL NEW FREON PUT IN&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;10. TO FINISH OFF THE SS UPGRADES, WE PUT THE 17 &quot; FACTORY IMPALA SS WHEELS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;TO GIVE THE CAR A MUCH BETTER LOOK AND STANCE.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;11. AFTER ALL THE UPGRADES, I ALSO SENT THE COMPUTER SENT OUT TO PCM FOR LESS SO THE CAR COULD UTILIZE ALL THE UPGRADES. IT IS SET UP TO USE 91 - 93 OCTANE.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;12. SINCE THE UNDER CARRIAGE WAS SO CLEAN I ALSO HAD THE WHOLE UNDERSIDE SPRAYED WITH EASTWOOD ENCAPSULATOR AS A RUST PREVENTIVE TO INCREASE THE LONGEVITY OF THE CAR.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;AS FAR AS THE INTERIOR GOES, I DON'T THINK ANYONE EVER SAT BACK THERE ( I DID AND IT FEELS LIKE BRAND NEW). EVEN THE PASSENGER SEAT FEELS NEW, AND THE ORIGINAL OWNER MUST HAVE BEEN A LIGHTWEIGHT, BECAUSE IT STILL HAS A NEW FEEL TO IT. ALSO IT ISN'T ALL CRACKED OR WORN LIKE I SEE ON A LOT THE CARS WITH MORE THEN 50000 MILES. NO CRACKS IN THE DASH, CLEAN ORIGINAL CARPET, NO HOLES . IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL AM/FM/CASSETTE AND FACTORY SPEAKERS. ALL THE WINDOWS GO UP AND DOWN , DOOR LOCKS ALL WORK, THE HEATED SEAT LIGHTS UP, BUT I DIDN'T USE DURING THE WINTER AND I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE IF THEY STILL HEAT UP.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span&gt;FEEL FREE TO CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. My Dad was the second owner and purchased it in 1971 in an estate sale from the 1st owner where it was shauffeur driven. He paid $4500 and it was his pride. During his liife, he kept it in his garage and fully serviced. I was willed it in 1988 where I kept it in different indoor storage its entire life. This car had NO accidents or body work. I put it in the current storage in Waukegan Ill in 1994 and havn't started or moved it since. It was last licensed in 1985. It has new boxed filters and replacement parts in the trunk. And as the pictures show, it has alot of aged surface dirt and surface rust patches, flat tires etc. I planned to repaint and restore it for the last 25 years. But time ran out. It will need to be picked up from the Waukegan ILL storage facility. I am asking $4500 because that is what my Dad paid in 1971.
