[Note: Apologize in advance for long ad, but like to be completely up front, would prefer no surprises]

Hi all, looking to sell a 2006 STS-V that I bought a couple years ago. The primary reason is while I like the power, I hardly drive it enough to justify having it and I'm most likely going electric this summer.....

I'll post pictures up in a day or two after I detail it, just putting post up now to see if any interest.

      Background

      -------

Bought the car from a well known community member. Car was a theft recovery which had typical stuff stolen and subsequently has a **Salvage** title. Local Member bought car and put in drivetrain and replaced stolen interior components (Nav radio, etc.) I bought it a couple years back and do not drive it too much. I take the occasional trip downtown to work (~30 miles roundtrip) and the occasional out of town highway trip. I've *NEVER* raced the car or taken it to a track, etc. Drivetrain advertised as < 30K when I got car and vehicle advertised as less than 30K miles when I got it; however, I do not have exact ODO since Salvage title guys did not record mileage. (i.e. could not power on car to get exact ODO) Other than stupid stuff such as a bad gas pedal and a chirping/whining belt, haven't had any real issues with the car while I've had it.

Interior Condition is probably 8 / 10, primarily due to the fact that there are some minor scratches on the dashpad and some of the interior trim was mismatched when the previous owner repaired the car. Everything on the interior is functional...

Exterior Condition is probably 7.0 / 10 range; however, with a couple hundred dollars with the PDR / mobile paint guy, probably would be able to bump this up pretty easily. Items of note are:

      - Front Grill has a crack. (Only noticeable when standing in front of it and I do have a brand new replacement piece to install)

      - Front fascia has a minor scratch on passenger front side and a few rock chips.

      - Driver front fender has a minor wrinkle where it meets the headlight. It is noticeable, but no horrible.

      - Rims have some gouging. Not noticeable unless you are right in front of them analyzing it....

      - Drive side doors have some minor dings near the bottom that have been touched up. OK from a distance, if you are right on top of the car, you can see it.

      - Minor ding on roof, not sure what it's from. Most likely easy PDR fix....

      - Minor ding on rear fascia. Wife backed up too far and had a minor encounter with a deck step on the corner....

      Drivetrain

      - Missing some plastic trim pieces. Does not affect performance at all, just annoying if you are picky...

      - Have a belt chirp / power steering growl. I am assuming they are related, but been tool cold to investigate.

      - PCM bracket and IC bracket damaged/missing. I have ordered replacements and have them, just have not installed. [I suspect that the car had a minor front end hit at some point, hence these parts being damaged/missing.

      - Lower Splash Shield was not present when I got the car. I have ordered one and have it here to install....

      - Parking "Emergency" brake doesn't seem to engage. Car has new emergency brake shoes (see below). Not sure if I goofed somehow, or there is a loose cable underneath. Have not investigated yet.

      - Car has "aftermarket" exhaust. I have no idea what it is, but it's NOT factory. It's not horribly loud, but definitely more than stock. As I'm a bit of a factory exhaust kind of guy, a little more than I like for idle/light acceleration, but does sound good when merging on expressway.

I have performed maintenance since getting the car:

      - New tires front and rear (~1 year old)

      - Added an intake to the car (still have factory air box)

      - Replaced faulty Gas Pedal which was causing intermittent Reduced Power Mode while driving... (that was fun)

      - Replaced Front Brake pads (~ 1 year ago)

      - Replaced Rear Brake pads (~1 week ago)

      - Replaced rear emergency brake shoes (~1 week ago)

      - Replaced rear pass hub with Timken replacement.

      - Oil Changes with Mobil 1 as prescribed.

I have the following items may / may not go with the car depending on the price:

      - New Front Grill to replace minorly cracked one.

      - Factory Service Manuals

      - Timken Hub - Rear (bought two so I had one for the driver side...)

      - Factory Airbox

      - 2 additional front tires in good shape. (not matching to what is currently on the car, though)

      - New Replacement knuckle (rear)

      - Misc trim pieces (to match up interior)

      - Lower splash shield / mounting clips

      - ECM Bracket

      - Intercooler Bracket

      - Lokar Transmission Dipstick

      - STS HUD (was debating on swapping HUD into car since 2006 V's didn't have it as an option)

      - New Inner wheel well for drive front.

      - New strut tower bar and bolts (didn't have one when I got it)
