I'm selling this '86 Seville because the engine needs some work that I cannot presently afford. The body is in near-immaculate condition, having always been garaged and seldom driven in inclement weather. It was, literally, a "Grandpa's" car. The suspension is tight, and the car has only 104K miles. Exterior is 2-tone Black and Charcoal Grey, with Light Grey leather interior.
The car gave me a low oil pressure warning light recently, and I stopped driving it immediately. I had a local shop pull the oil pan and inspect the engine, pulling several of the main and rod caps. The engine is spanking clean inside, the bearings looked great, and the garage is willing to certify their findings. I had them install a new oil pump and yet the car still has substandard pressure, although better than it was. The best educated and researched guess is that the cam bearings are worn, but I cannot afford any further expense in the car at this time.
This would make a great car for someone with the time and technical savvy to do the work. Located in Finger Lakes Region, Upstate New York.
