      Description:

For Sale... Perfect road course wheel and tire set up for CTS-V.  Falken RT-7 18x9 (I'm 99% sure on the wheel width but can check with discount tire).  They are a square set-up (same size all the way around) great for increasing the life and use of the tires on the track by rotating them.  These came off of my 09 CTS-V Sedan (check other fitments).  The wider front is also great with this heavy car that wants to understeer or push into the corners!  The tires are the amazing Hankook Ventus R-S3 (do your research if u don't know about these) in 285/35/18.  I had them heat cycled by discount tire for better track life.  I used them for one two day DE with four twenty minute sessions per day if I remember correctly.  I then blew the bottom end of the motor on a parade lap of the second DE I took these to so they never even got warm that day!  I put a fully forged 427 bottom end in my car and am now going to go for big power with it so my car's DE days are over.  Thus the reason I am selling this brand new track set up.  These wheels are great looking as you can see and clear the brakes nicely.  No damage to note on these brand new wheels.  They are used and have been around the track a few times.  They are also amazingly light weight for the price too (somewhere in the low 20lbs per wheel range if I remember correctly?)  I had no rubbing with this set up and my car is lowered with D3 comp springs.  These tires have plenty more life in them (remeber heat cycled too) and this is a great way to get into a top notch track day wheel and tire set up at fraction of new.  These are sold as is with no implied warranty.  I have right around $2300 in this set of wheels and tires and am asking $1700 obo shipped to the lower 48 (heavy to ship with the tires!)

      cotty,

I just painted the stock calipers and put high temp decals on them. I love the look personally. The advantage of the 18's for track days is tons more tire options and lower price than larger sizes. Both better for track tires that don't last long and are not cheap! I am not sure on tire fitment. My suggestion would be to contact a local discount tire if you are close to one or check the out online. That is where I get the wheels and tires and I am sure they could help you out. Just let me know. Thanks.

Why the 18's for the road course ?

I would have figured 19's, but wider .......
